Story

The Leading Edge Take Heart (LETH) 10K/5K is an annual event held in Lakeland, FL that makes a global impact in the lives of orphans and widows in rural Kenya. This year, the majority of funds raised will go towards education and entrepreneurship projects in the Oyuma Village community in rural Kenya. Runners and walkers alike can make a difference together by participating in this family community event.

We've broken ground on the school! The roof is going on as I type this. We plan to open school for the first three grades In January 2027! Such a long road but with your help we are so close to realizing the next step in the educational opportunities for our students in the village.
