Please join us for the 2022 Pinkathon Challenge for Breast Cancer! Run virtually or run at the in-person event! If you decide to run virtually, you can run, walk or cycle - any distance you want - anywhere you want - even if you're in another state, another country, or another planet! You may complete your distance any time and across as many days as you want, any time before October 31, 2022. Last year, we raised over $70,000 for our charity, BCRF! Let's do it again!
The 9th Annual Pinkathon SF In-Person Event will take place on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at the San Francisco Ferry Building by Gott's Roadside's outdoor patio. The In-Person 5K & 10K events have already reached Maximum Capacity (aka Sold Out). The other In-Person events will sell out soon. Can't Go? If you are already registered for a Pinkathon In-Person Event, but think you might not be able to go, please TRANSFER your registration to the Virtual Pinkathon event instead. The Virtual Pinkathon Challenges have no capacity limits. To change your race registration from In-Person to Virtual, just log in to the registration page, go to your Profile and find "Manage Registration". Then look for the "Transfer Event" button in the left hand column. More detailed instructions are here: https://help.runsignup.com/support/solutions/articles/17000062922 If you need help transferring from In-Person to Virtual, please email the Race Director.
The Pinkathon SF is a FREE "do-it-yourself" or "fat-ass" event, meaning that we have NO AID STATIONS and NO COURSE MARKINGS (except for the 5K & 10K turnarounds & Pink Ribbon Trail). You must bring/carry your own water and snacks. We have downloadable maps and turn-by-turn directions that you can find at https://pinkathon.org/pinkathon-maps
Caltrain also runs on Saturdays, then maybe take a Taxi/Uber to the Ferry Building. https://www.caltrain.com Masks might be required on Caltrain
Parking on Saturdays: Golden Gateway Garage (250 Clay Street, between Battery and Davis Streets) is open 7 am to 7 pm, with an all-day flat rate of $8, no validation required.
